No Music Can Displace Fuji…Toyin Adio Says
As He launches Fuji Flex

Local Government, Ajegunle Apapa, on the last of October as Veteran Fuji Star, Emir
Toyin Adio Ololade aka Mr. Performer shall launch his new album titled Fuji
Flex.
The versatile fuji musician said, “The
event is scheduled to commence by 12pm with top musicians expected to grace the
occasion, they are as follows; Chief Micky Adisa Excellence; Prince
Maltina Ayinde, Alhaji Aare Sir Shina Akanni, Alh Chief Musibau Alani, Chief
Moroof Adisa.
Others are Kehinde
Oriyomi, Fatai Alao, Aremo Sharafadeen Adigun, Karube Aloma, Kamoru Ishola
Saridon 2 and a host of others notable guests.
Coming out with a new album at this
point in time when fuji music is losing its prominence to hip-hop music,
Ololade, a veteran who came into limelight in the early 90s said, “Fuji Flex is
an album meant to reawaken the spirit and enthusiasm fuji music has in entertainment
industry in Nigeria.
“It could be recalled the great magic my
music Mr. Performer did back then remains in people’s memory. We were able to redefine
the face of fuji music same way history is about to repeat itself now with the
advent of Fuji Flex.”
Reacting to the assumption that fuji
music has been displaced by Hip-hop music, Adio said, ”I want to state here that
no music can displace fuji music because it has its traditional fans whose love
for the music remains unshaken.”
Emir Toyin Adio Lolade, is the owner of
MMG Medals Muzik Global that produced Fuji Flex.
The new album would be the 10th from Mr. Performer who took up music as a profession in 1978. Amongst his albums are the following; Ijo First Class; Mr. Performer, Time 4 Fame, Jaskolobi; Mr Social; Genesis; Agogo; The Legend and the coming one FUJI FLEX.
