A Source in Benin Republic has said their country was not ready to Engage in a diplomatic crisis with Nigeria. They also Psaid that based on their intelligent gathering, that it is unhealthy to jail Sunday Adeyemo aka Igboho in their country.
Even though his lawyers kicked against deporting him, officials in the Benin Republic said that the least punishment for Him is to go back to his country (Nigeria).
It was gathered that there are plans to arrest him once he sets his foot in Nigeria. Anonymous who works with Interpol said that the charges against him were punishable by deportation, fines or imprisonment.
Remember, he was arrested in Cotonou when he wanted to travel to Germany. That was after his house was raided and many people were arrested. His counsels have warned that the activist should not be sent back home. It was also said that it's illegal under international law.
The Yoruba activist followers who participated in the July 3rd rally have regained their freedom after a court in lagos State granted them bail.
