As Nigerians celebrate the 60th independence anniversary today, Chelsea and Roland Aroge who are SDG Kid Advocates from a suburb of Lagos have painstakingly put together an independence anniversary song which leverages  Covid 19 pandemic to trill their audience while addressing the realities of the ravaging corona virus.

According to their manager, Engineer Rotimi Aroge who is a co-founder of Cheroland Schools where the children behind the work attend, he believes it is high time we groom our children to take position for the leadership of the country in all spheres of the economy.

The school which has been operating like an NGO purposely to assist as many less privileged community children as it could, is set to complete her evolution process soon.

He stressed further that, the quest to make it a free education school is to support the less privileged children in the community and make life better for all.

While Cheroland prides herself in being a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) driven institution of learning , it has continually developed and driven other initiatives which are SDGs inclined.

This covid-19 /Naija@60 song is one of the numerous initiatives they are currently working on and they hope to build followership among Nigeria youths towards positive change.

It is also interesting to note that this year's independence anniversary is going to be a full year celebration 1st Oct.2020 - 31st December 2021, hence they are inviting partners and collaborators to join support their work for a better post Naija @ 60.

Watch out for their latest song, a cover of Olu maintain's "I catch cold " This is tagged Naija@60 edition.
