In line with the State Government's
commitment to leave no child behind in the access to quality Basic Education in
Lagos State, LASUBEB in partnership with Human Development Initiatives
(HDI), today, visited Agboyi II community in Kosofe Local Government
Education Authority to distribute hand-held, battery-powered radios and
other distance-learning aids to pupils in primary schools.
The
Board took the trip with the Human Development Initiatives as a part of the
Initiative's Community Intervention Programme.
The
radios and other materials distributed would ensure that learning continues
with these pupils, especially in the hard-to-reach communities despite the school
closures. The radio affords the pupils all that is needed to listen to
Interactive Radio Instructions designed by LASUBEB to minimise learning
loss in these unprecedented times.
