“OLUDARE BEST ALABI you impacted in
my life as a man, but today you are no more. I will forever remember you Oga
mi. “
You taught me how to fish when nobody accepted me as a young boy
back then. I could recollect so many things we did together during the days at
Feminar cafe at LTV8. Many people then used to call me Bidemi Best or Bidemi
Dare Best even among your colleagues. I was your P.A and partner in greatness
anywhere then. We slept on the same bed, ate your mum’s food at Akowonjo and
travelled together. Oh...Dare Best you left too soon. I am short of words.”
These and many other sorrowful words were the scenarios on social media today
as Dare Best Alabi was interred to mother’s earth. The Lagos based
Radio/Television presenter died a few days ago after a brief illness and his
sudden death has remained a rude shock to many of his colleagues and fans. Dare
who was well known as Olorioko by his teeming fans was the presenter of
'Opalatira', a Yoruba program on Faaji FM and also a regular faces on different
television stations and radio across South-West, Nigeria.
