RAMADAN SPECIAL: WHY WE WANT TO PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF WIDOWS- AMINAT OMOTAYEBI

Few days to the commencement of this year’s Ramadan, OMOTAYEBI FANS CLUB has put in place different consumable items with cash for widows and the less privilege in the society.

Speaking with our Reporter, Alhaja Aminat Babalola a.k.a Omotayebi said, “This is the second edition of the programme and it is coming with a different face. This year; we shall celebrate the widows and the less privilege in the society. We want to give them different food items to support them and make them happy as we fast for the mercy of God.”

The event that is billed to take place on the 19th of May, 2019 at Isolo Community Rotary hall, Ileewe Meta Bus-stop, Isolo Lagos has Sheik Jamiu Ajadi a.k.a Ami Olorun as its lecturer for the day.

She said, “My lovers, the people I cherish and regard as part of me; OMOTAYEBI FANS CLUBS all over the world came together to design the program with the quest of giving back to the society especially to the widows.

“Ramadan is about fasting, praying, listening to sermons; and seeking for forgiveness of our sins. We implore people to come out in large numbers, let’s come and listen to the words of God, what is expected of us before, during and after the holy month of Ramadan. There would be lecture and different activities lined up for the day.

“Sheik Jamiu Ajadi a.k.a Ami Olorun is the lecturer of the day, people will be blessed with words of God, and to all participants, we shall receive His abundant blessings and Allah’s Baraka will continue to be with all of us.”

Being named Senior Advocate of Women Affairs, Alhaaja Aminat Babalola said, “I see it as a duty to make life comfortable for widows in our midst and I want to use this medium to call out on them, please come one come all, there are provisions for widows in cash and kind.

Reacting to the motive of sharing food items and money to people during the month of Ramadan, Omotayebi said, “Our quest is to put smiles on their faces and in return; Allah shall bless us, because He said, we should be concerned about the widows and the less privilege in our midst. Omotayebi fans club is handling this and we pray to be more responsible to the society via different programs that will be of beneficial to all and sundry irrespective of whatever.”

She stressed further that, “The first edition was a huge success, people supported us and we were able to reach out to as many as possible even beyond our imagination. Being the maiden edition, yet it was an event that gave us an encouragement to plan more for this year.”

Meanwhile; Alhaja Aminat Babalola a.k.a Iya Kekere Eko, has just dropped a new album titled Igba Otun to celebrate this year’s Ramadan.

According to her, she said the album has 3 tracks laced with lots of messages that will be of great benefit to mankind, also prayers and sermons with lots of supplication to Almighty Allah are all embedded in the new master piece. The new album is her 15th album so far having been around for over two decades.
