LAGOS FIBAN SEEKS BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU AS HE EMERGES GOVERNOR-ELECT

Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, has rejoiced with Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat as they won the gubernatorial election in Lagos.

In a statement signed by Tokunbo Babs-Olurinde, the Chairman of the association, it reads thus; “We congratulate them on their success as Governor-Elect and Deputy-Governor-Elect respectively, in the Match 9, 2019 Governorship Election.

“The Association noted that their victory is a testimony of the electorate trust in their messages and ability to take the State of Aquatic Splendor to a higher height and attaining a better Lagos.”

The statement stressed further, “In the same vein, we felicitate with entire Lagosians on the violence-free Governorship polls depicting Lagos State as 'CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE’.

“FIBAN Lagos also appreciates all Broadcast Stations for keeping to professional ethics during the electoral period. We promise to continue the working relationship between the government and the Association, while urging the Governor-Elect to also collaborate with the Association in Broadcast media relations. We pray for sustainable peace, progress and prosperity in Lagos and Nigeria at Large.”
