ALARIYA OODUA EDITOR TO BURY MUM IN OSUN STATE

The editor of ALARIYA Oodua Magazine, Kunle Babarinde and his siblings are set to give their Late Mum, Deaconess Deborah Babarinde a befitting burial ceremony this weekend in Osun state.
In a statement signed by the editor of one of Nigeria’s indigenous newspaper, ALARIYA Oodua has said that the burial program will commence on Friday with a wake-keep by 4pm for his beloved mother, Omoladun Babarinde who passed on at the age of 83 years.
He said, “As we are celebrating the beautiful life our dear mother lived, also the remembrance of our Late Dad, Pa Emmanuel Adebisi whose soul departed this sinful world 20 years ago shall be celebrated too.”
Babarinde stressed further that, “We were blessed with wonderful parents whose love for God remains a Legacy we will continue to cherish, and as their children it has really made us a good Christian. Having them as my parent is the best thing I have ever had in my life and if there is another world, they will always remain my parents. The exemplary life they lived really made us looked up so much to them; including people around and the Christian community in our area.”
The program will commence with a wake-keep on Friday 8th February, 2019 at her residence, behind Local School Board, Off General Alani Akinrinade street, Yakooyo/Moro, Osun state.
Funeral service will follow on the 9th, February this weekend at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Igbala District Headquarters Moro, Osun state. Entertainment of guests will come up at Origbo Anglican Grammar School Field, Moro, Osun state.
The Late Deaconess was survived by children and great grand children.
