Barely 37 days to the governorship election nationwide, in
Nigeria members of the Oyo State APC in United Kingdom has appealed to all
critical stakeholders involved in the electoral process in the country to
ensure a peaceful conduct of the election across the country.
This was stated in a communiqué issued earlier today in
London by the Group. In their address, the group has appealed to all citizens
of Oyo State who Are yet to collect their PVC ‘s to do so in order to
participate actively in the electoral process.
The chairman of the group Mr. Kolawole Saidu on behalf of
the UK chapter of the APC reiterated the commitment and full support of his
members to all candidates of the party in the forthcoming general election.
Also, a call was made to all security operatives in the
country to ensure they carry out their duties in a professional manner avoiding
any infraction during the polls.
The group also reaffirmed their commitment to working with
the APC Oyo State under the Chairmanship of Baba Oke and the Party Secretary,
Alhaji Mojeed Olaoya in ensuring the success of the party gubernatorial
candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu in the next general election.
