To put paid to the controversy in the fuji music world as
regards its creation, Alhaji Adeyinka Ishola a.k.a Askari to-n-ko-fuii has just
released a new album to settle the dust.
In his bid to contribute his own quota to the real history of
fuji in Nigeria, Askari to-n-ko-fuji has released a six tracks album titled Explosion.
The album which was successfully launched at Blue Sea Lounge,
Akilo Road, Ogba, Lagos on 11th November 2018 witnessed crème-de-la-creme in
the society and also in the entertainment circle as well as big shots in the
police force.
Mrs. Yetunde Longe the Deputy Commissioner of Police SCIID,
Lagos was present with the following dignitaries; a PDP House of Representatives
Aspirants, Hon. Lanre Osundairo; Hon. Benjamin Osundairo; Hon. Agunbiade of APC
Ikeja local govt., Lagos.
Other notable groups and association present were; his
association, Fuji Music Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), PMAN, Lagos chapter, The
President, Alhaji Prince Adetoro, Lagos taxi driver and his members.
Alhaji Musibau Alani, Alhaji Bukola Alayande Ere Asalatu and
other upcoming artistes troop out to celebrate Ishola Adeyinka Askari to n ko
fuji.
In his words, Alhaji Ishola Adeyinka said, “The project was a
special one with tracks that are meant to set some stories right in the history
of fuji music. I have a powerful hit track to debunk the recent controversial
stories of how fuji was invented with a title "Fuji not Fuja " and it’s
also meant to establish the fact of its creation by late Dr Sikiru Ayinde
Barister. This and many more are beautiful lyrics all music lovers will enjoy
in the new album.”
The album which was released under the label of Dam J Music
& Film was full of latest Tungba and solid lyrics in other to turn around
the face of fuji music.
The Inspector General of Fuji as popularly referred to by his
fans also dedicated a special track to the welfare of Nigeria Police force to
be effectively carried out by Federal government in other to repose the police
confidence in the minds of the public.
