The founder of Yoruba
Social Cultural group, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Fredrick Fasehun is dead.
Fasehun died earlier today, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the
Lagos State Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.
The late 83-year-old medical doctor on Tuesday admitted to
the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital where he remained until his demise.
Until his death, he was a medical doctor, an hotelier and owner,
and leader of the Yoruba Social-cultural group, OPC.
The OPC is a Yoruba organization formed to actualize the
annulled mandate of June 12 of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.
MKO was the winner of June 12 presidential election who was
barred from office.
Fasehun was imprisoned for 19 months from December 1996 to June
1998, during the military rule of General Sani Abacha.
