He is the son of the popular legendary
actor, Pa Oyin Adejobi, Ajibola Gbadegesin is a popular musician with good
numbers of album to his name. Gaskiya, one of his hit tracks is his popular
name now amongst music lovers.
As the year is rounding off, Ajibola
Gbadegesin Oyin-Adejobi has released another album titled ELEBURU IKE. The new
songs according to Bola Oyin-Adejobi are in audio and video CD.
He said, “We are set to make
this season interesting to our fans and all music lovers by coming out with
ELEBURU IKE. It’s a special album that will enhance maximum enjoyment during
and after the festive period. The tracks are as follows; Praise & Dance
Offering; Eleburu Ike; Waka waka; Testimony and My Secret. While the video
contains three major tracks; Praise & Dance Offering (featuring Pa James
Ajirebi); track 2 is Waka Waka (featuring Mama Rainbow) and the last track is
titled Testimony.”
It could be recall that Bola
Oyin-Adejobi (Mr Gaskia) has released good numbers of interesting albums, they
are; Eri Olola; Glorious Freedom; Unlimited;
Exalted; Sope and Omoluabi.
Besides music, he is an actor,
and he has played some major roles in different Nigerian movies, Also, Bola Oyin-Adejobi
is a talented artiste when it comes to production of soundtracks for movies and
other areas of entertainment.
In his words he said, “I am
blessed with different talents. I did soundtracks for my dad's movies, Ekuro
Oloja and Kuye. Also, I am a good actor, having been born into acting; I could
perform very well. Despite my passion for music yet I have got some movies I
took part in. I played the role of a
Pastor in one of Prince Jide Kosoko's movies titled EJE Adegbenro
“I also produced my first movie
in 2003 titled ALASE ILE (The land master), followed by a 13 hour film episode which
was aired on OGTV Abeokuta, OSRC Akure, OSBC & NTA Osogbo. I've also
directed some movies as well alongside their soundtracks”
Reacting to his gains so far in
the industry, Bola said, “It has been fulfilling, though not yet financially
rewarding, but it's a career I will choose again in the next world to come if
there is anything like that.”
Also, reacting to the status of
his late dad’s theatre group, he said, “The Oyin Adejobi theatre group is
functioning through its products. People like Chief Kola Oyewo, Tafa Oloyede,
Baba Wande etc are showing their worth out there, and they are doing very
great. Some of us, the children are keeping the legacy as well.”
