The President, YEFADOT Group of
companies, Chief Mrs. Yetunde Babajide has lauded the federal government for
its quest in making life better for Nigerians.
According to news report, the
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has given a directive where people can access
loans up to N10million with 5% interest rate per annum from the CBN through its
Agric, small and medium enterprise scheme (AGSMEIS).
The founder of YEFADOT
Institute of Agriculture, Yetunde Babajide has described this gesture as
mandated by the Buhari led administration as a means to better the lives of
Nigerians especially those in the Small and Medium scale Enterprises.
The CBN loan is designed to
help Agriculture business that involves production, input supply; storage,
processing, logistics and marketing. The scheme is also to support those in the
Educational sector; Health; other services that includes hospitality,
restaurants, catering services, etc.

Other areas are; ICT;
Manufacturing/Production; Mining; Creative industry, this involves fashion,
design, crafts, entertainment, etc.
Also Petrochemicals is included
in the category of those that can access the loan. YEFADOT Boss said, she said,
“According to the information at our proposal, to qualify and access this fund,
you need to have been trained by an Enterprise Development Institute. The
registered institute will submit your form to CBN. CBN will ask banks to verify
your account details and then CBN will proceed to conduct its own assessment.”
She said.
