Adesina Temitope Abidemi is a youngster with great passion
for music, his advent into gospel music dated back to when he was very young;
and a member at a children church. Though, he never thought he could go into
music fully, but God had a special place for him in the gospel world.
Temitope Paul a.k.a FARAWE to his name has an album, MY
PRAISE and currently he is working on his second album that will hit the gospel
world soon.
Taking us down memory lane, he said, “My parents were very
supportive mostly my mother; she encouraged me and did all she could to help me
achieved my goal. I could remember how I started; then I was a little boy,
right in children Church; doing very well in the Choir. That’s how the story
began and it has been gospel music all along with the quest of winning souls
for Christ through music.
“Although I never thought I would be going into music fully;
all I wanted was just to be a worshiper until one day I had to bring together a
music group;
That was the Psalmist but due to the fact that it wasn’t
planned and I didn’t want to be a music person, the group crashed and after
sometime I retraced my step and bounced back with another set that is doing great
in the gospel world today.” He said.
Coming out with his first album, Paul has this to say, “In
2015 when I was facing some challenges as regards music, this made me seek the
face of God
The inspiration I got made me become a very good song writer.
With this development, I planned my first album, though not easy getting good
sponsor for the project, but with God, I was able to overcome the challenges
and I did it all alone and the project was a success.”
With the success he recorded on his first album, Abidemi has
commenced plan on the second album.
He has advised youths to work and always pray and put their
trust in God.
“Music has really provided me the opportunities I never
envisaged I could achieve in years to come. With the gospel ministry I manage,
I have been able to meet great men of God and other children of God that are of
great value to mankind.
“In another five years, my music ministry would have
released 3 albums with videos. My music would be making great waves in every
nook and cranny of this nation, Nigeria and even beyond.
“This; I desire with the aim of reaching out to the youth through
my music with reasons for them to live and discover their purposes in life.”
Speaking on his yearly concert Worship Koinonia, FARAWE as
he is fondly called said, millions of people always come to receive and have an
encounter with their Creator. Worship Koinonia comes up twice in a year, the first
always come up around 3rd week in April and in September. It brings together
great ministers of God and other worship leaders including myself as we lead
people in the presence of the great Lord.”
Reacting to who he referred to as mentor in music industry,
he said, “Lady Evangelist Bolaji Adebayo and Mama Bola Are are great people I
love and cherish, I love and appreciate their music. They are source of hope
and inspiration to me.”
