Olufemi Kehinde, the gubernatorial
aspirant of All Grassroots Alliance got an overwhelming endorsement from the
leader of an Islamic Movement, Majmahu Ahbab of Nigeria, Ikire branch.
As part of his consultation and
mobilization drive towards September 22nd election, Hon. Olufemi Kehinde paid a
courtesy call to the group and was received by Shiek Ibrahim Akintayo, the
zonal representative of Fahida Tijjaniya group.
The governorship aspirant was
advised to keep to his promise as the group assures him of their unflinching support
for his candidature throughout the state in the incoming election.
The town Apomu, headquarter of
Isokan Local government in Osun state witnessed crowd of supporters from far
and near especially Ikire; it’s neighboring town that houses Irewole local government
of Osun state.
The Tijjaniyah Sheik described
Femi Kehinde as a humble person, while he implore him to make good of all his
promises and deliver Osun people from poverty and other economic woes the state
was saddled with.
Femi Kehinde in his words
thanked the Islamic cleric and his group with a promise of a positive change
that will be of great impact to all and sundry in Osun.
He stressed further that, “We
have got a lot of mineral resources and enterprising people that can make Osun
state competes with other states in Nigeria. The government that will put the
people of Osun in the right place they belong to has come. All Grassroots
Alliance is a party for all irrespective of religion or ethnicity, once you are
from Osun, or you dwell in Osun; meaningful existence is for you and everybody.
Our party is for the masses and every member of the society.” He posited.
