Iyalode of Ojodu land stressed further
that, “Having worked successfully for Buhari’s victory in 2015, we are back again
to see that Nigerians continue to have this great man with his running mate in
power for a better tomorrow.
“We are set to deliver Lagos to
the government of APC by working assiduously for Buhari’s return. Life is better now; our people are now living in reality; not the fake life we were
used to. This was made possible by Buhari’s government; People are back to farming, this is the 19th year we had a functional airways operation
in Nigeria. Buhari has brought it back, same goes to our railway system; a
formidable one is now in place. Zero tolerance on corruption was absolutely done by
this present administration. These and many more are the good deeds from this
great government. Those that are against his return were the corrupt people;
the poor masses will always appreciate his good governance.”

In reaction to the mass
defection that befell the party recently, Yetunde Babajide said, “Those that
left our party were the bad eggs that needed to leave so that the party can
deliver well on its promises to Nigerians. They were the clogs in the progress
wheel of Mr. President. In their hands were broom, meanwhile, underneath their garb, was an umbrella. Now they have left, those that remained in the party are
people that really wanted the progress of this nation.”
Part of the strategies the National
Committee of Buhari Support groups have designed is empowering people while they
work for the return of APC as ruling party in Nigeria come 2019. Yetunde said, “Our
quest is to make life better for every Nigerians, we aren’t here to share money;
rather we shall engage ourselves with different things that could better the
lives of our members and Nigerians as a whole.

“Buhari’s government has
provided funds for people that wanted to go into farming. Loan is now available
for artisans and other professionals with zero percent interest and a long term
payment plan. This laudable project shall be used to benefit our people, and in
return we shall work for the continuity of this great government.
“We are not beggars, what we do
is empower people and make life better for them. Those that go into politics in
the name of sharing N200 and a plate of meal will continue to perpetuate
themselves in poverty. What every soul needs is a real means of livelihood,
empowering ourselves to greatness and this can be done by learning one or two
things to become independent. Our own politics is not about gathering to share money
that will buy a plate of meal; rather we would take advantage of what could
benefit our today and tomorrow.
“There’s a soft loan now meant
for every Nigerians, we are here to assist people in getting the money. Our
people should stop begging; rather they should find something doing. People should
take up the advantage the federal government has provided, it is real and it is
meant to better people’s lives.”
Amongst those that were present
at the inaugural meeting was Doyin Johnson, the youth leader of the group; he said,
“Buhari has excellently performed well but it is quite unfortunate that the
legislative arm of government has hijacked the structure sabotaging the good
deeds of Mr. President.”
Reacting to weather people
would vote for Muhammed Buhari come 2019, Johnson said, “Quote me anywhere, I can
assure you that the margin of 2019 will be far higher than 2015. Nigerians will
still vote for him because he has been able to put many things in place. Now, a
common man can access loan from Bank of Industry with very little interest
rate, meanwhile there are some loans that are interest free. Youths are now
getting empowerment program; and farming has been given a great cognizance.

voters card and prepare to return Buhari/Osinbajo to power in 2019. He said, “Their
government has done well for Nigeria, a government that invested so much in
Agriculture meant well for the nation. Nigerians are now living a real life,
but what I believe is; better days are coming, no more free money, people really
need to work and that is better than being idle. Let us continue to support this
government for a better tomorrow.”
